Having used a Conservatory / Extension Design Program for many years and witnessed their increasing sophistication I found myself having to choose my own. The company I had worked for, who supplied their preferred program had gone out of business. For the first time I embarked on assessing several different programs. Because all of my equipment is Apple I have to rely on an emulation program to run any of these programs. That immediately omitted two of the programs as they simply would not work on my set up. I trialed the others for between a week and a month and ultimately chose vsHome. All of the programs had glitches and frustrating bits missing, including vsHome, however, it became the winner due to its level of design detail. It enables a much more comprehensive, realistic, set of design options. There are still omissions but having spoken to the team many of them are in development. This brings me to the main reason for my decision in choosing PST, their central team are excellent. (A special mention to Sebastian whose patience knows no bounds). Some of the brands simply do not have this level of support. It’s been a major learning curve as it is very different to the other programs …. It has definitely been worth the effort. I look forward to seeing what else comes with the next update.
