We recently participated in a Step Challenge to help raise funds for Shine, a charity dedicated to providing specialist advice and support to those affected by Spina Bifida or Hydrocephalus. Tom Perrin, our Junior Developer, shared his enthusiasm for the challenge; “Participating in the Step Challenge was a fun experience. It was a great opportunity to get the whole team out together, walking during lunch breaks and encouraged everyone to increase their daily steps! It became a friendly competition as to who could get the most steps in and of course it’s rewarding to know our efforts have raised funds for an important charity.” The aim of the challenge was to walk a combined distance of 158 miles over a two-week period, which would be the equivalent of walking from PST’s Sheffield based office to London’s Trafalgar Square. Amazingly, the whole team stepped up to the challenge and walked a total of 248.59 miles, 575,145 steps, whilst raising an incredible £900 for charity.
